The children’s day was held and celebrated in the school premises on Monday, 27th May, 2024. Children’s Day is a day dedicated to honouring and celebrating rights and welfare of children in Nigeria. It is also an opportunity to raise awareness about children’s issues and promote their well-being.
In a bid to make the Children’s Day fun and memorable for the scholars, Legacy Private School took it upon itself to organize a fun-fair for the scholars and also extended the invitation to other children living around the school’s vicinity to also participate in the fun experience of the day.
The fun-fair offered the children the opportunity to participate in various fun activities that were made available by the school which include; horse riding, bouncing on the castle, swimming, playing of table tennis, face painting, cinema and playing of PES games.
It is indeed a children day to remember.
